Everything You Need to Know
You’ve Got Questions - I’ve Got Answers
Do you supply the gear and equipment?
Absolutely! I will supply top of the line G Loomis rods and Shimano reels along with the gear, tackle and bait/lures we would be using for the day. I'll even have a DSLR camera with me to take professional quality photos of you and your fish so you can show all your friends!
What should I bring with me?
All you need to bring is your fishing license, warm dry clothes (quality rain gear is highly encouraged), lunch, and a smile!
Where do I purchase a fishing license?
You can purchase a Washington State fishing license at a few different locations on your way. If you are coming from the south, stop in Sportsman's Warehouse in Vancouver. If you are coming from the north stop into Bobs Sporting Goods In Longview. Purchase at minimum the 1 Day Combination Fishing License for each angler ($11.35 for residents, $20.15 for non-residents).
If we need lodging, where do you recommend we stay?
Hands down the best place to stay nearby is the McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge. Very cool hotel with unique rooms, a good restaurant and 2 or 3 bars. Built right on the Columbia River with amazing river views! Check it out here: https://www.mcmenamins.com/kalama-harbor-lodge
If I am flying in, what is the closest airport?
The closest airport is PDX - Portland, OR. It is located about 25 minutes south from most of the rivers we will be fishing.
Are you licensed?
Yes. I hold a WA State Business License and Insurance for SeanK Fishing, LLC and both the WA State Food Fish and Game Fish guide licenses. I also am First Aid/CPR certified.
